Spool Cake Table. Outdoor ceremonies seem to be all the rage on Pinterest lately, and we love that the site is helping couples everywhere imagine fun and exciting ways to jazz up an outdoor ceremony. We especially love this creative idea for a cake table, particularly because we’ve seen these spools everywhere, from old work sites to curbside trash. Add flowers, candles, and linens if you choose, and you’ve got yourself a beautiful and not-so-standard wedding cake table!
Not Quite White Bouquet. We once heard a florist give an advice to a bride about her bouquet color, sharing that if the bouquet is colorful, people’s eyes are naturally drawn to the pop of color, particularly if the bride chooses to wear white. In contrast, the florist pointed out that if the bouquet is white, people’s eyes tend to be drawn to the bride’s face. We hadn’t quite thought of it this way, and ever since, we’ve had a new outlook on white bouquets. But for the bride who doesn’t quite want all white, this bouquet is the perfect choice. The greenery and berries are muted, so that when mixed with white, they add a touch of something special, without detracting too much attention from the beautiful bride. A win win!
