That first picture is of me and my husband! I was looking for the picture that is below it to show my sister and in googling the photo and clicking the site, up pops my picture! Wow. We live in Texas, funny to see this on a Chicago blog.

Tazia, so your husband doesn’t actually want to be married to you and is trying to get away, but you’re forcing him to married? That’s a really screwed up message for a wedding photo. When you have a kid are you going to do a baby photo where you’re holding your baby and he’s looking at like he just wants you two to go away and leave him alone? Or maybe one where he’s off having sex with another woman and you’re home alone with the kid? That would be a great follow-up.

We did one similar to the first one except we had the bride’s FATHER pulling the groom back in 🙂 Strangers might not get it without a caption the way they get this one, but the FAMILY gets it 🙂 It was cute!

The second one is cute. Not a big fan of the black and white with the red shoes colored. A little cheesy/tacky. imho 🙂

I think the third one down with the selective coloring is a HORRIBLE photo. They look like zombies people, and selective coloring is cheezy as all cheezy can get. It was popular in the 80’s and thankfully most have moved on. Yuck!

The one of the groom showing of his ring to the “girls” is hilarious. The boys did a great job posing for that one. Is the one with the garter from the 90s? It’s seriously SO tacky. Aside from the fact that selective coloring is cheesy, as mentioned, it’s just kind of gross. Half an inch more and we would have gotten a full moon. What bride wants to look like a third-rate stripper on her wedding day. There are cute and classy ways to show off the garter, but this definitely isn’t any of them.

@jen Calm down woman….. I thought the picture was so adorable! Jen you should probably go talk to someone else about your problems, you dont have a right to comment on that picture like that…

I would agree with Jen, actually. When I first saw that photo I was like “that’s an awful message to be putting in your wedding photo album.” That and the one showing off the garter I think are super unclassy, but I do like the before the wedding kiss and the guy showing off his ring. Those two are kind of adorable. I guess to each their own, though,.

@ Jen.. you are SERIOUSLY disturbed…and your rant, just makes you come off like a total BITCH… @ Elli.. CLEARLY the photo is done in fun.. it may not be ok for YOUR photo album but it works for them…

I do agree that the one w/ the dress pulled up is a bit tacky for my taste.. but they like it so hey.. as long as it works for them…

Except for the garter one… I thougth the ideas are cute…

These are some really good ideas! Just would like to point out to all you rude people they are ideas! No one said you had to do this. Hey what ever floats your boat. When you get married you can have a picture made any way you would like it. But these pictures were put out for some cool ideas for those of us that do like them. Thank you so much for sharing your photos! I think the picture with the pumps are hot as Fire!

I think they are cute, except for the props one isn’t really my style.

I personally love the one with the garter…HOWEVER, it is not one that I would put in my living room OR in an album for display for the world. It is one that I would have for a private collection, like in our bedroom, or our personal album.

And the very first one, where the groom is trying to “escape” and the bride is pulling him back in…yea that would be mine too…bahahhaa. In reality, I think that is every man

@Jen…. I agree with the others that the photo you’re referring to (first one with the groom trying to get away)…is REALLY CUTE! It’s all out of FUN, and it shows character with the couple. I’m seeing they have laughter in their life, and you must have laughter to enjoy life, and not take all things so seriously. I’m not referring to their vows, but to life in general. I think if you took a poll on the photo, it would come up as a great photo HANDS DOWN. Seriously, learn to laugh a little in life. Open your mind, and heart, and know that others see things different, and you’ll broaden your outlook on a lot of things. I do wish you the best:)

I think they’re great ideas and the last one is my favourite one. However, I am not liking the one with the garter. It screams tacky to me–especially with the selective colour.
