Jeff was incredibly professional, polite, and flexible for our 
wedding reception. We received compliments throughout the night 
from our guests, including the hard-to-please family members.

Jeff was awesome throughout both the ceremony and reception. 
His playlist during dinner was great- many of our guests 
complimented on that.  The dance floor was always full and 
everyone had a great time.  Jeff was also very professional 
and organized. He communicated very well with us during the 
entire event so we always knew what was next.  We will 
recommend Music by Design and Jeff to all of our friends.

Music by Design is FANTASTIC and so easy to work with! Jeff was our DJ and we met with him personally for the initial meeting. He explained everything very thoroughly and that we could customize as much or as little as we wanted. Other companies told us they would only allow 50 do-not-play’s and would not let us “ban” a genre because someone may want to hear it (sorry, if I loathe and despise country music, I don’t want to hear it at my wedding – people who want to hear it can listen on the way home).

I did select a lot of songs, both to play throughout the evening and for the do-no-play list, and the online tool is very easy to use. I never heard 1 song off of the do-not-play, and Jeff was very good at reading the crowd and selecting music. My parents and I both received several compliments throughout the evening on the music and on Jeff. Pricing is also comparable other DJs we met with. HIGHLY recommended – thanks Jeff!

He laid the foundation for celebration and created an enviroment that was a breeding ground for fun in all directions.
