Novelty Bottles: We’ve seen all kinds of fun takes on mini bottles and small sips before, but the upside down corona ( or coronita for the mini version) is absolutely perfect for a summertime soiree. The presentation is perfect for a fiesta themed engagement party or ultra cool cocktail hour. The best part about this cocktail on our opinion? The idea really molds together 2 separate tastes- unlike signature drinks “for him” and “for her” this take really hits home the idea of both sides coming together. It really is the best of both worlds- and it looks so incredibly refreshing for the summer!
Specialty Ingredients: So it may seem like we are on a bit of a cocktail kick here ( can you blame us, we’ve been living through a polar vortex the past few months!) But craft cocktails have really become mainstream with new flavors like orange bitters, elderflower, and here a specialty “Lavender Collins.” A lot of these artisanal compliments are actually being resurrected from really old recipes and mixologists everywhere are bringing them back in the most delicious and visually stunning way possible. This idea would work best in the beginning of the night with a designated amount of drinks pre-made and served with a fun sign telling guests what it is. Since these type of drinks tend to take more time and care than your usual sips, it’s best to limit them.
Silhouette Photography: We love really well done portraiture and classic candids of you and your groom. We could actually sift through wedding photos all day and not get tired of it! But when it comes to later on down the road, you may want a special more art-like photo to hang in your home the really captures the moment and feel but maybe isn’t so “in your face,” so to speak. Silhouette shots are perfect for just that. They really captured the timelessness and romanticism of the day and are absolutely incredible done in black and white.
