Wedding playlists

After the ceremony it’s time to let loose and here’s where your wedding playlist comes in handy! You want your day to be elegant, amazing and stylish. It can also be a super awesome party with the right music! We hear that Christina Perry’s “Thousand Years” is still quite popular and will of course be topping a lot of couple’s dance floors or ceremony aisles.

Here is a list of the top 10 songs for 2017:

  1. Beyonce “All Night”
  2. Emili Sande “Breathing Underwater”
  3. Digital Farm Animals “Only One”
  4. Taylor Swift “I don’t want to live forever”
  5. DJ Snake and Justin Bieber “Let me Love you”
  6. Bruno Mars “24K Magic”
  7. Rihanna “Love on the Brain”
  8. John Legend “Love me Now”
  9. Dua Lipa “Blow your Mind”
  10. The Weekend ft. Daft Punk “I Feel it Coming”

Your wedding playlist is the time where you can pick personal songs that mean a lot to your and your now husband or let your guests request songs from the DJ. If you elect not to have a DJ the orchestral musicians are certainly familiar with popular tunes. Give them fair notice that you’d like certain songs played and ask if they do pop music. It can be a great twist on familiar tunes for a three or five piece orchestra to play them!

We love the usual artists for weddings of course like Beyonce, Michael Jackson, The Beatles and Lady Gaga! There are some wedding playlist songs that are classics for a reason. A wedding playlist can also be a cute favor to give away to your guests. You can compile a CD of your favorites and give them to your friends and family as a way to remember your big day! Your wedding playlist is a time for you and your fiance to have fun and pick songs that you want played at your reception.
